Since we are using Office 2019 we would need to change the registry key as follows to point to the Office 2019 VL Channel: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\ClickToRun\Configuration. SCCM detects and offers updates based on UpdateUrl This issue has now been resolved with the assistance of Premier SupportĪffected machines were configured to receive Monthly Channel Updates which are for Office 365 ProPlus even though we are using Office 2019 and should be receiving updates from the Office 2019 VL Channel. Has half of the estate been activated as Office 365 ProPlus and the other half Office Professional Plus 2019?
#Office 365 professional edition update
However it also displays " Office 365 Client Update - Monthly Channel Version 1906 for 圆4 based Edition (Build 11727.20210) on a number of devices as well." This is confusing, I was under the impression that OfficeĢ019 Perpetual Enterprise Client Updates would only be applicable to the version of Office we are currently running. Under the Office 365 Updates Folder in SCCM 1810 , it displays "Office 2019 Perpetual Enterprise Client Update Version Perpetual for 圆4 based Edition (Build 10346.20002)" which is required on a number of devices which I believe is expectedĪs we are running Office 2019.
Deployed via SCCM OSD TS across all the clients. Apologies if this has been answered however I have not been able to verify this information with out logging a request with Premier Support.Įnvironment currently running Office Professional Plus 2019 (VL). I require some clarification regarding Office Updates.
